07-13-2010: Plumbing, part 2; Rain gone!!!

It's over 90 degrees, the sun is shining, the wind is blowing, and the rain clouds have finally gone somewhere else!  We have returned to normal July weather and are finally back on track.  We had hoped to get started again on Monday, but another surprise early morning rain storm dropped 0.3" Monday morning. 

The plumber made some good progress today and should be finished by Thursday.  The electrician has to come out next, but it shouldn't take too long.  Hopefully we'll be working on backfilling and grading the foundation area by Friday and can pour the slab early next week.  The basement still has some issues with water and mud.  Rick hauled up many buckets of mud on Sunday, and we've had a fan running for several days down there to help dry it out.
