7/18/26

We put up tar paper, trim for the siding, and siding this weekend. We're using some other left over siding Rick had for another project and haven't gotten to the old roof material yet. This siding has an interesting patina, but it'll all be pressure washed, primed, and painted to match the house eventually.

Next time we'll finish the area at the back of the carport that's been left open (OSB, soffit and fascia, tar paper, trim, and siding).

A storm popped up west of town but missed us. We did get a few clouds for a short time, though.

7/4/26

The city received a grant for a new paved road, and the road in front of the house was closed, removed, and prepped for paving. It'll take a few weeks.

We worked on soffits and fascia this weekend on the shed. It was blazing hot (almost 107 degrees), and we didn't have shade on the south part of the building or the west part in the afternoon.
