07-05-2010: Foundation forms in place

We are back on track!  The foundation guys showed up at around 11:30am (on a holiday!, but then I worked today too!) and decided that it was dry enough to set the forms for the foundation.  They worked until 6:30, and it's ready for the plumber tomorrow.  The plumber isn't sure if the trencher will be available tomorrow which would slow things a little. 

There's about an inch or two of water left in the bottom of the basement which will be a little more complicated to get out.  The pump ran for 9 hours yesterday and last night.  Rain is still in the forecast, but the chances aren't too high right now.  We'll be relieved to get the foundation poured sometime in the next 1 to 1 1/2 weeks, so the basement can't flood like that again.
