JD & Jill came out around lunch today and installed the vinyl plank flooring in the back of the basement. They did an excellent job, it looks great, and we really appreciate them helping out! I grouted some in the master shower but had to stop to help Rick cut tiles for the master bathroom floor. We quickly covered up the entrance to the shower, so more grouting was not possible. We finally finished around 10:30 tonight and now have all of the floor and shower tiles in place.
There will be some more tiling on the backsplash, but we'll just forget about that for now. Rick has some cleanup to do tomorrow and will shift gears and begin installing the hardwood flooring in the living room. There is a lot of grouting waiting for me now, and the water line needs to be dug very soon.

Yeah for Jill & JD. Wow! Things have changed significantly. You're going to have to get some of thick, plushy white robes like you get at a 5-star hotel for that bath! So, are you taking reservations to use it?? When is the final due date??
We need to be finished by May 5. If the flooring gets finished within a week, I think there's a good chance we'll make it.
