04-18-2011: Hardwood floors, day 1

Rick started installing the hardwood floors today.  It's Tuscan Hickory (5" planks).  I think it's going to look good.  It is lightly hand scraped. 

I used the backhoe and dug the water line to connect the house to the well when I got home from work.  I also did some grouting and tile cleaning tonight.  The carpet will be installed tomorrow, and the goofy plumber's helper will be out to start installing faucets/showers/etc.
