03-11-2011: Front porch poured

The concrete guys came out around lunch today and poured the front porch.  We left before they finished and didn't return until after dark, so I don't have any pictures of the completed porch.

The granite guys came out and installed the 3 bathroom sinks.  I also haven't seen the finished product yet.

I picked up the lights this afternoon and we spent several hours working on tile for the floors, showers, backsplashes, etc. and on carpeting and flooring for the basement.  We ordered the tile for the floor and showers but still need to think about the backsplashes for all of the above before we make a final decision.

Rick taped some areas today, but we didn't get any painting done.  We still plan to finish painting this weekend.
