Rick painted the master bedroom and hallway into the garage & utility room today. I had a successful trip to the lighting store and finally decided on lights for the entry, dining room, island, stairwells, and bathrooms. I also ordered drawer pulls & door knobs. We'll make a trip to the tile store tomorrow and will decide on the tile, carpet and flooring for the basement. We'll also probably go make a final decision on faucets.The granite guys are finished for now but will have to come back to finish one part of the bar and to install the bathroom sinks when they arrive.
The concrete guys haven't shown back up yet. Rick and Randy installed the vent hood this afternoon. He will continue to work on taping and painting, and we should be able to finish up by the end of the weekend. The electrician and HVAC guys will be back next week, and Rick will begin working on either the floor or the showers.
The chicks are doing well. Some are already beginning to grow some wing feathers.
