03-12-2011: Painting, day 18

The porch looks good.  We'll wait a few days for the concrete to set better before we put up the three cedar posts in front.  We'll figure out the front steps, sidewalk and driveway extension sometime soon.

Rick painted the hall bathroom, laundry room, and up-stairwell this afternoon.  We now just lack the master bathroom, guest bedroom & bathroom, and garage.  We may be able to finish tomorrow.

We went by to check on the stone for the fireplace/stove areas today.  He says he's been working on it and will be out Tuesday or Wednesday to get it installed.  We'll see!

It's starting to be spring around here.  A few of the trees (mainly pears and redbuds) are starting to get leaves and buds, and the spring flowers are blooming.
