Rick finished painting the garage today. Other than a few touch-ups and some can light rings, we are finished with the painting. A professional painter told Rick it would take him a month to paint a house this size and would take a full crew about two weeks. We had originally estimated about 2 weeks, so 3 weeks is pretty quick for our crew of about 1 1/4. The stone guys, of course, didn't show up today. The stone guy was going to ruin my image of him if he actually showed up when he said he would...really glad that didn't happen. I still have such a great impression from that month we had to wait back in November. I'm very glad that his crew does great work! Maybe they'll be here tomorrow.
The electricians will be out tomorrow to start installing light fixtures & ceiling fans, wiring plugs and light switches, and installing can lights.
We're also in touch with the HVAC guys and the granite guys about a couple of granite backsplashes. Rick will be starting on showers tomorrow.
