We finally have some real paint! The trim in the basement and stairs has been sprayed once. It needs 24 hrs to dry before we put on the second coat. The second from last picture is the drawers with primer and sanding completed. Rick had just begun spraying them with the first coat of paint when the sprayer tip broke. He had to make a trip in to Home Depot but is ready to get started again. The last picture is some of the painted drawers.
We are using oil-based semi-gloss paint for the trim and ended up choosing the color between Southern Breeze and Colonial White. The wall paint is latex eggshell and is the color between Dusty Trail and Toasted Almond.
We had hoped to get both coats of paint on today and to be able to paint the basement walls tomorrow and have that part of the house finished and closed off, but it looks like we'll have to come up with a different strategy.
