06-16-2010: Basement walls

We now have walls in the basement. The basement guys poured 45 yards of concrete in the walls of the basement today (that's 4 1/2 concrete trucks!). It will cure for several days before they dig out the center part (most likely on Tuesday) and prepare to pour the footing and floor of the basement. I guess we're back in waiting mode until next week.

Sure am glad no kitties fell into those basement wall trenches!
Me too! I was very nervous while they were wandering around the trenches and open basement.
