JD, Jill, Amy & Vince joined us in mid-June for very warm trip to the cabin.  Temps reached about 90 in town on Saturday and were 106 in Alamogordo when Rick and I made a trip to buy a weed-eater at Lowe's.  JD, Jill, Rick and I picked cherries at Cadwallader's on Friday afternoon on their last day of picking for the year.  We made the required trips to Mad Jack's and The Western and weren't disappointed.  Rick and I rode MTBs in the James Ridge on Saturday morning but didn't get an early start and it was 90 degrees by the time we finished, which was almost unbearable on those tough mountain climbs.  It cooled off well at night, though, and the cabin temps were comfortable.
