This is a better shot of the ceiling beam in daylight.  We've ordered some crown molding for the sides.  Minx likes the new window sills. 

The cabinet doors and drawer fronts are being made by a local cabinet guy right now and should be ready this week.  Rick is finishing up the trim and will begin building drawers very soon.  He's gotten several bids on staining and sealing the kitchen/bar cabinets, living room beam, front door, and office/pantry doors, and we're hopefully not too far away from getting that started.  It should only take a few days.   He's also getting close to being ready to paint.

Thanks to some really nice weather today, Rick finally put up the beams on the back porch and moved the supports to the front in preparation for pouring the front porch sometime soon.
