Hail on the roof of Big Daddy's

Driving into town
Lots of hail piled up on the side
Sun setting and mist coming up off the road and hail
One of two major hailstorms we were in on Thursday--looking back to the east toward our cabin from Burro Street in front of the Western
Food and beer were back on track
If you look closely in the background, you can see mist and fog still coming up off the hail from the storm several hours earlier with a full moon on Burro Street.
Long climb up Sleepygrass Road
Sleepygrass road climb
Finally made it to the apple orchard and loaded up on Fujis
Nothing like a steep one mile climb in your big chainring to start out a ride because a rock is stuck and you can't shift
Deep in the forest near the Indian reservation on elk road
One of our favorite areas to ride--we call it elk road because we almost always see elk back there
Between elk road and Baird Canyon climb
Just came down the treacherous elk road
Nice meadow with pond
Lumberjack Day festivities at Zenith Park on Saturday
One last ride around the neighborhood on the hardtail MTB before we headed home
The first hailstorm (between Artesia and Hope) did a number on my car--it even broke the windshield
Add caption
Big dents all over the car
Time to get that Outback now!
