Goliath--December 2015

Sunday afternoon when the blizzard & snow really started picking up
"Goliath" started at about 6pm on December 26 (Saturday) and lasted until early Monday morning.  We had approximately 11.5 inches of heavy snow which yielded 2.24" of moisture.  The winds blew at up to 60 mph during the blizzard.  It was brutal.  We were snowed in on Monday, but Rick's truck was able to make it on Tuesday.  My car finally made it on Friday.

The kitties watched a bunny who spend the blizzard and most of the next week in the patio chair
7-8 foot snow drifts in the back yard lasted about 6 weeks
It doesn't look too bad, but looks can be deceiving.
We decided we might as well go mountain biking since we were stranded.

A week later on County Road 1
2 weeks later on County Road 1
2 1/2 weeks later it was a mud-fest
Almost a month later on another Lynn County road
Still a little snow almost 2 months later on County Road 1 at Hwy 87
