January 2010 update

We celebrated Rick's 50th birthday on the Voyager of the Seas (Royal Caribbean) with JD & Jill. We left Lubbock on Saturday, January 9th and returned on the 17th. We sailed out of Galveston and visited Honduras, Costa Maya, and Cozumel. We had a great time and had a lot of fun at dinner each night with some new friends from Dallas and Missouri.

We are still waiting for the architect to put the finishing touches on the house plans. He estimates about another month before it's ready to go. Hopefully things will begin moving a lot more quickly then!

Toby & Minx

We made the mistake of going by PetSmart on Halloween and ended up adopting a new baby from the pound!













Toby was about 6 to 9 months old and had a personality that seemed compatible with Minx's. We had a rough first few weeks. He got very sick and nearly died a couple of times.  It also took several weeks for them to get comfortable with each other.

Things are great now, and Toby & Minx are the best of pals!
